Elliot is a former partner in a national firm of accountants who is used to acting as a trusted advisor to his clients. He worked with many SME clients involved in manufacturing, engineering, the motor trade, textiles and footwear, retail and various service industries as well as professional service firms to assist them on organisational and governance issues. He has worked with everything from start-ups through expansion, acquisition, and disposal as well as exit planning and helped struggling businesses to turn things around, restructure and prosper.

He also works extensively in the charity sector with both national, international, and local charities as well as a variety of sectors including, mental health, carers, heritage, environmental and grant making charities. He is a trustee of four charities so is able to advise boards of trustees with hands-on knowledge of being in their shoes. Together with his UK Business Advisors colleague Ian Crocombe and 2 others he is a director of In the Round Advisors, a specialist charity consultancy.

Within UK Business Advisors he specialises in Strategy and Finance and is a Board Member as well as the Chair of the Turnaround and Restructuring Group. He is also a non-executive director of a university spin-out company. Outside of work, he is married to Penny with two grown up children and, apart from his voluntary work as a trustee and an ambassador for the Jewish community in the East Midlands, he is a lifelong supporter of Liverpool FC being a born and bred Scouser.
