Although there are few if any business problems that cannot be solved given enough time and money, solving it is not always the best outcome.
If it is clear after examining the existing business model that the cost or time involved is such as to make a solution non-viable it is often possible to re-design the model to provide a realistic solution.
Occasionally this is not possible, perhaps the business owner is incapable of managing the necessary change or the financial weight of debt is too heavy in which case the only solution is to close the business down.
