Has 35+ years’ experience at a strategic and operational level of working in this sector including the development and implementation of strategies, business plans / cases for new and refurbished facilities, the project management of the associated building projects and the formulation of contracts and specifications for the management of leisure and cultural facilities.
Recently completed an assignment with Worcester City Council as an Interim Project Manager responsible for the: –
Development, procurement and management of a detailed feasibility study and outline planning application for the construction of a new swimming pool complex. As a result of the feasibility study the Council committed £10.5 million for the project.
Currently working with Worcester City Council, a specialist Procurement Company, a First Aid Training Company, an IT Recruitment Agency, a local Magazine Company, a Confidence, Lifestyle, Personal and Career Development Coaching Company and have worked with an Architects Practice, Manufacturing Companies and a First Aid Training Company to help them grow their businesses.
Directing, co-ordinating and leading the Worcester Enterprise Club, on behalf of the Federation of Small Business, providing business mentoring and support to new and emerging businesses in Worcestershire.
