Since launching her marketing consultancy in 2011, Susanne has advised a wide range of businesses across the hospitality, creative, service and charity industries. In September 2013, she published her first book on marketing, Build Your Tribe – the new marketing manifesto for restaurants, bars and cafes. On the back of her book launch, Susanne has become a sought after speaker on the business events circuit and she is regularly invited to contribute to articles in the press and on the web.
Previously, as Global Head of Online Marketing, Susanne successfully delivered a digital marketing strategy that helped to promote Patersons Global HR & Payroll to an international customer-base. In April 2010, Patersons won Company of the Year & Best International Business at Fast Growth Business Awards in London.
From 1998 to 2005, Susanne worked with a range of creative and marketing service agencies, devising strategic marketing plans and managing their roll out for hundreds of small businesses and dozens of global brands including Channel 4, Sony Music, Cushman & Wakefield Real Estate Solutions and Deutsche Bank. She was also responsible for leading business development at a number of these agencies. In her most successful role, she helped increase agency turnover by up to 300% over a 3 year period.
Earlier in her career, Susanne worked as a project co-ordinator on a range of educational CD-ROM titles for Dorling Kindersley Multimedia and at the start of her working life she spent several years as a production manager in the corporate events, film and video production world.
